Churning of the Ocean of Milk


In Hindu mythology, gods and demons churn the Ocean of Milk, using the serpent king, to obtain Amrita, the nectar of life, that will give them immortality.  The churning is depicted in a sculpture found inside the departure hall of Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport.
