Sultan Abdul Samad Building


Built between 1894 and1897, the Sultan Abdul Samad Building is an example of Moorish architecture in Kuala Lumpur. It was named after the sultan of Selangor at the time of its construction.

Located in front of Merdeka (Independence) Square, the building formerly housed the Federal Court of Malaysia. It is now the office of the Ministry of Information, Communications and Culture
