Seed Cathedral

No, not a place where cotyledons go to worship, but rather the nickname of the pavilion of United Kingdom in the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai.

Part building, part sculpture made with acrylic rods filled with seeds, the Seed Cathedral - built by Thomas Heatherwick - won the award for best pavilion design. The rods hold 60,000 seeds from all over the world.
